*Recognize the humanitarian disaster caused by antipersonnel landmines.
*Recognize that we do not need mines to defend South Korea.
*Recognize that there are existing alternatives to mines that have been employed by all of our NATO allies.
*Lead the way to U.S. accession to the Mine Ban Treaty within the year.
