A Jazz Performer Against Landmines

Jane Bunnett, a well known Canadian Jazz Performer, is an active supporter of the International and U.S. Campaigns to Ban Landmines. While on tour in the United States, she talks with her audience about her commitment to the cause of banning landmines, and she promotes awareness about the destruction caused by the millions of landmines that remain in the ground throughout the world. Jane is working to raise awareness about this cause so more people will speak out and urge the president and members of Congress to support the treaty.

If you are intrested in going to one of Jane's concerts listed below to listen to great Cuban jazz, help pass out action alerts, and ask folks to sign petitions as they leave, contact Gail Silverman at : gail@phrusa.org
